The Learning Curve

Secondary School

CBSE lays the guidelines of the school – The Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) System in Education in grades IX & X, where the school is solely given the responsibility to assess the child through School and Board guided evaluations done by the school teachers, makes the task tough for the school but student friendly. Keeping in mind the holistic aspects of progress, a child is judged on both academic and non-academic spheres in two years of grades IX & X, wherein a child’s performance is evaluated by:

  • Academic performance based on formative and summative assessments.
  • The activities and hobbies the child pursues and performs in these years.
  • Sports
  • Developing and nurturing Leadership qualities
  • Social and community services.
  • Values and etiquettes towards school, teachers and classmates.
  • Endurance skills and all aspects of disciplinary and trans-disciplinary aspects.

CBSE issues combined grade card of IX & X after completion of grade X, completely based on school evaluations of the above.
